Autumn term 2024
Welcome back! We’ve got plenty of activities for you to do at our youth hubs and adventure playgrounds over the autumn half term.
Our autumn term-time programmes are taking place from 9 September – 25 October, and 3 November – 20 December 2024.

Forest Road Youth Hub – 29 Forest Road, Dalston, E8 3BY

- Juniors (6 – 12 years): Monday to Friday 3.30pm — 5.30pm
- Seniors (13 – 19 years, up to 25 with SEND): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 6pm — 9pm
Special groups take place on Wednesdays – ask staff for more info on how to join.

Young Carers – Forest Road Youth Hub, E8 3BY
Many young people don’t see themselves as young carers. However, if you are looking after someone with a disability, long-term physical illness, mental health condition, or drug and alcohol problems, then we can help.

Young Hackney Sports Unit – 80Z Eastway, Hackney Wick, E9 5JH
The Young Hackney Sports Unit is running multi-activity sessions in various locations across the borough throughout the autumn term.

Young Hackney’s adventure playgrounds, Shoreditch and Hackney Marsh, will be open for fun and exciting play activities during term time for children aged 6 – 15 (up to 18 with SEND).
Our adventure playgrounds are open:
- Tuesday to Friday 3.30pm – 7.30pm
- Saturday 11am – 4pm

Activities you can get involved in at the adventure playgrounds include:
- Football Tournaments
- Beach Volleyball
- Den Building
- Water Play
- Graffiti Art
- Whittling Designs
- Clay Moulding
- Arts and Crafts
All young people are required to have a Young Hackney membership to attend sessions. If you have submitted a membership form in the past, this does not need to be submitted again.
If you are currently not a member of Young Hackney, please print and complete the membership form and hand the completed form into your preferred youth hub or adventure playground.
